As a casual player, the only times I see the inside of a raid instance are when I get lost or asked to fill-in for a dropped player. So, my chances of having high-end warlock attire are limited to those few drops in Heroic 5-man instances, seldom raiding experiences, and what I can buy. Bring on the heroics. With 3.3, if you are ambitious and log on for about 1 hour each day, you can net 14 frost emblems by doing the random daily dungeon. If you time it well, you can add the regular (weekly) raid along and net 5 more emblems. Last month, I broke down and purchased the Tier-10 shoulders for 60 emblems. This was the best upgrade for me at the time. Now, I am back up to 40 and want to start planning for the next big purchase. At this time, I am considering replacing my chest piece . Already broke the Tier-9 4-piece bonus when I replaced the helm, then shoulders. Here is my concerns: There are two chest pieces available for 95 Frost. Found this over at the Blizzard comics contest page. Reminds me of a raid instance, when I first spoke into the mic. I suppose it was I was always complaining about waking the kids, or having to deal with one barfing on the carpet in the middle of the raid. Due to the configuration of our house, I seldom, if ever spoke in vent. One day, kids were out I first spoke, someone said "who is this?". "It's ME, Elk!" . "Oh, I thought you were a woman".

I was approached by a friend today asking for my input on Warlock theorycrafting. Oooo, honored! Anyway, her guild has told her that she needs to improve her DPS. She's got a lot of end-game raiding drops, so I am really surprised. Here are my suggestions to her: Review gemming priority. Focus on spell power when ever possible. Get rid of the mixed gems that are just there to get socket bonus (per MC Flowchart ) Try out different talents/gear combination's using a spreadsheet like: DPS Spreadsheet . Replace outdated or missing gems per Wow Heroes Purchase badge gear where possible, everyone should check out the Brimstone Igniter and Tier-10 "Dark Coven Shoulderpads" . 25 Triumph and 60 Frost are not THAT hard to get. Be Imba (see link on sidebar) is working on a similar report. Nice details. Beware of sites like MaxDPS.COM and LootRank.com. They only work off the raw numbers and not actual combination equipment. Saw this posted on MC Twitter feed Log Flume: In Grizzly hills: Go upriver to the sawmill. Talk to friendly NPC at top of spiral steps. Take Ride. LOL uncontrollably. Repeat # Horde go see Darrok at ~35,35 in Grizzly Hills. Once you get on the log, it takes you all the way to Venture Bay.

Last weekend I was faced with long queue waits on the Random Dungeon Finder, potentially joining a raid in ICC10/25, so I decided to try again some of the PVP offerings. Heck, if the daily was right, I might even be able to get my PVP achievement for finishing all 4 of the dailies. Checking with the warbringer, I found the daily PVP was in Arathi Basin . Not my favorite area, but definitely not the worst. Claim then defend upto 5 different areas on the large map from the opposing faction. Claim it by clicking on the flag, waiting for it to go neutral then wait for it to go your direction. I found defending the forge fun! Close to the graveyard, center of map so you get some action, fairly defend-able because only 2 real entrance points. I had a healer sitting there with me each time, which was great! Saw this one posted on MMO-Champion and wanted to link to it here. I've watched the first few minutes and already realize that I am going to watch it a few more times. It contains a bunch of information detailing tips and strategies for lock'ing in PVP, specifically dueling. Best yet, he goes through each of the class dynamics and what weaknesses they have and how to counter them. I've created a playlist with all 4 parts put together here .

Last night was a first for the guild in a long time. We had a very successul run of TOC-10 with a mix of 7 Order of Thought recent and former members plus pugged 3 people from Ride the Lightening . We managed to 2-shot all the of the various bosses. One for all the noobs (like myself) to see the fight, then a second to complete it! I picked up a nice cloth belt on the last boss of the night. Cast: Elkagorasa Nerindel Shiraz Alaria/Muhan Felruk Carnichan Cassanova Benarsis Bethsyn Besheu Best off, this group was immediately able to fall into the Naxx-"daily". A few toon-flips to get the non-saved team and we had Noth down in no-time.

Have to give shout out to Almost Evil for pointing out the new feature on Wowhead . If you run the WowHead client, it will help you with tracking quest completion; pets you have and even recipes you know. This might be able to solve my quest tracking add-on quest. Reload the addon tonight.
